The Tournament

The tournament will be open to all players, beginners through experienced, grouped in self-ranked skill categories, but limited to 32 two-person teams (64 total players) on a first come basis. Play will be round-robin format.

You must register as a team (you & a partner) and the cost of registration will be $40 per person. Registration fees are a donation to the Town of Copake to support the Copake Memorial Park. Registration fees are non-refundable, whether or not you play.

You will be asked to self-rank based upon US Pickleball definitions (check them out here). It is expected that team members will be somewhat evenly matched.

All play will happen between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, with a tiered schedule to be announced. Participants will get to play a minimum of five games. Games will be to 11 points or 12 minutes, whichever comes first. Division assignments and play brackets will be pre-decided by the Tournament Committee and will be non-negotiable.

PICKLEMANIA 2025 will take place outdoors on Saturday, May 31 (rain date Sunday, June 1) at Copake Memorial Park, 305 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516  (If rain on Sunday, June 1, the tournament will be held indoors at the Taconic Hills High School gymnasium, 73 County Route 11A, Craryville, NY 12521). No seating will be provided, so feel free to bring lawn chairs or the like.

Aloha Tacos and Rollin’ Sundaes food trucks will be offering food and drinks for purchase from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, May 31.
